Win A Business Book For Yourself And For Someone Else Too
We’re right smack in the middle of EntrepreneurshipWeek USA so now is a great time to hold a Business Book Contest.
In fact, I’ve got 2 books to give away in this contest, and in the spirit of giving and sharing here’s how the contest will work:
- Find a great blog post about entrepreneurship that really hits home for you (on someone else’s blog.)
- Write about that blog post on your own blog, and add your own thoughts to the mix. Make sure you link to the original blog post too.
- Link back to http://www.startupspark.com (in your blog post) and email me with the URL of your blog post (so I can check it out!)
That’s all there is to it. I’ll work on collecting all of the submissions and posting them here. The cool thing is that we’ll get your blog posts about entrepreneurship with links to other people’s blog posts about entrepreneurship as well - doubling the entertainment and value.
A few more details:
- Only 1 submission per blog please. If you write more than one appropriate blog then you can submit for each blog.
- The contest ends Monday, March 5th. All submissions need to be in by Monday at the latest.
- A winner will be picked randomly, and announced on Tuesday, March 6th.
- The winner will receive The Entrepreneurial Imperative
by Carl J. Schramm, President of the Kauffman Foundation.
- The person that the winner has linked to in his/her story will also win a book - Chocolates on the Pillow Aren’t Enough
by Jonathan M. Tisch.
Find a great blog post about entrepreneurship that you want to highlight. Write about it and link to it. Let me know about it. You could win a cool book on entrepreneurship and the person you’re linking to will also win. It’s like a “pay it forward” contest…
And, we’ll create a nice big spider web of entrepreneurial content for everyone to enjoy.
Good luck!

Another great part of Entrepreneurship Week is the Innovation Challenge, going on at schools around the country. Teams try to creat as much value as they can with an everyday object over three days. This entry is particularly innovative–selling a game of hockey with Guy Kawasaki–the prize they will receive if they win!
